It's ok. High prices, good food, small portions and lots of mosquitoes. I was hoping to avoid the average of Denerau Island but it's just another run of the mill place.
Great food and drinks. I had the chicken tacos which looked and tasted like something off one of the masterchef street market episodes. Tacos with a modern twist.
Very relaxed and laid back
The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for people wanting to try some amazing food.
We went there on our third night at Denarau Island. A bit tired of the 'enclosure' of the resorts options, I wanted to try something more Fijian. So we took the Westbus and off we went. This place is more a small open air modest restaurant than the traditional street food stall. The food was good, the staff very friendly and attentive to the guests needs and the prices very affordable in comparison with any of the resorts there. A nice option if you want to try something beyond the bridge :)
The only downside is that there are more mosquitoes there and in the resorts area (not sure what the resorts do to get rid of the). However, the staff gave us a tropical strength insect repellent and lit some mosquito coils.
Wow!! What a wonderful venue. On our third night in Fiji, after two mediocre meals in Denarau itself, we decided to brave outside the gates and try some Fijian street food. This place didn't disappoint, brilliant food, great service and half the price of the restaurants inside. Live band and atmosphere come free!!! Wonderful evening and we would highly recommend.
