I like it better now because they installed plastic chairs but its not wheelchair accessible, which should have been considered during the upgrade. Unless they have a special seating for wheelchair users that I'm not aware of!

A wonderful sports arena that has great seating and great facilities for the public and sportsmen and women that come to the stadium to participate in their respective sports.

Fiji's main sporting arena used for Athletics and rugby events. Big grandstand, nor ally pricey, but embankment normally affordable for everyone

Given that Suva is the capital, and that there isn't the funds to have more than one national stadium there, it's not bad. However the drawbacks are that it is a multipurpose stadium, so if you are at a rugby match (the national sport) you are a long way from the pitch because of the athletics track, so the atmosphere is muted and sightlines from grass & concrete banks not great. Also, it invariably rains in Suva. Watching rugby in Sigatoka or Lautoka is much better.

Sports Stadium. International Rugby, Soccer and Athletics competitions for Suva are held at this stadium. Surrounded by 3 Rugby fields, a cricket pitch and a turf hockey pitch used to host international competitions, the Stadium is the center of most of Suva's sports scene for clubs, national level and school competitions.
