Not what we expected.
The trash can outside was very small. Inside we found a house book that informed us we need to take our trash to a near by (15 km away?!!) recycling center. There was no mention about this inconvenience at the time of making our reservations. Further, prior arriving we confirmed with the landlord the cleaning was part of the price. This turned out not be the case as the house book advised us to clean before leaving in order to avoid extra charges. The floor was dirty , furniture dusty and couch spotty when we came in making us think the only type of cleaning this place gets is the cleaning the renters do. Internet was not working at all first and we needed to purchase another sim card. There was a wild fire on the island during our stay and electricity was cut off, this was not the only cutoff of the electricity however, it proceeded to shut off yet another time before we had an opportunity to cook, the second cutoff lasted about 2-3 hours. We had to take our kids and grandparents back to the mainland as there was no more running water during the blackout. We would have never selected this property if we knew about the lack of trash/cleaning service. Overall this place does not live up to expectation, even the yard was covered in weeds not depicted in the original pictures, all in all I would not recommend this place and am therefore giving it 1 star out of 5.response / report this review
