In Kauppahalli can you buy food and eat food in yhe foodmarket.

Very beautiful and old market hall, lots of different stands with diverse product offering s. Towards the back there is a range of small restaurants with excellent lunch offers. There is even a vegetarian shop (Roots) and live music. Top spot.

Great place to get fresh and local food and groceries. There are also several cafes and lunch places to eat during day. A historic place to do shopping and meet people.

Very traditional,histrical place.
There is a sushi-restaulant that is called "KADO" in the market.

Nice place to get fresh meat and fish. They also sell frozen meat/fish, dry fruits, cheese and alcohol. The food stalls are also good if u want to grab a quick bite. The only downside is that, everything is expensive here.

Believe it or not, had some very decent tacos. Coming from California, expectations were not high but the flavors were fresh and done right. Would absolutely get those again.
Smaller kauppahalli than Tampere for example, but lots of lunch options which I think is the purpose of this particular location.response / report this review
