  Före observatoriet kallades berget Ulrikasborgsbacken, enligt sägen efter Ulrika Eleonora. Här påbörjades på 1700-talet fortifikationsarbeten till Sveaborg. Innan dess kallades berget Kasaberget.

  One of the best places in downtown Helsinki to have a picnic! Get some fresh food @ Wanha Kauppahalli Hall or @ Kauppatori market and enjoy the view over Helsinki.
