  A beautiful collection of many instruments and their historical information, staff was very friendly. Worth a visit if you're into music history.

  The main hall has some interesting instruments like a combination cello-piano and a harpsichord you can play yourself, plus an interactive display of how harpsichord, clavier and piano mechanisms work. But the best part is the smaller hall with the life of Sibelius, which gave a really good sense of the man's wit and talent. Most importantly, you can listen to a selection of recordings if (like me) you're only familiar with Finlandia. Excellent English translations throughout and a chance to buy a selection of Sibelius on vinyl for just €1. Free concerts Wednesday night, although unfortunately we didn't have time to go.

  Excellent collection of instruments (at least to me, as an amateur). Nice, concise descriptions and background information next to each case. The staff was very friendly, they offered to play Sibelius' music in the background during our visit. Worth paying a visit wild in Turku.
