Love easy walking or longer hiking here! Beautiful, peaceful park. Love the delicate and unusual lichen seen in many places there.

Viimeisen jääkauden muovaama ainutlaatuinen ympäristö. Puhdas ja raikas maisema hyvien retkeilyreittien keskellä. Rokua geoparkin sydän.

Great place to walk around and spend time.

The park is near to Oulu. This is ia geopark from iceage which is a best place to hiking in weekend.
The sand is soft which is nice to hiking on it. We hiked almost 19km half day.
On 2th July, we could already pick up blueberry and eat directly.
There're also lakes which you can swim freely.

There are two errors in the Google maps.
The actual name is Rokua kuntokeskus.
The actual position of Rokua kuntokeskus is 6 km north-north-west from the position marked at the map. So, do not follow directions given in Google if you want to get there at all.
