Went here with some friends. We ordered some snacks as starters. Then the service disappeared for a while after we asked for the dry aged sizes and options. We finally got very good advise about the meat from the butcher and decided to go with a 750 gram T-bone steak for the three of us. The snack where very good and the portion size was perfect. With the steak we had a nice bottle of red Bordeaux. This steak was the best steak I ever had. It was very juicy and so tasty it did not need any sauce or extra seasoning.

Steaks were fresh and tasty. Fries and salads not so much. Staffs were professional. Price is very expensive.

Great and unique, Finnish take on steakhouse. Plenty of nordic type dishes and sides as well. everything was spectacular. Wait staff was great and helpful. They got the steak just right. nice bottle of wine and selection. In a great part of the downtown, within blocks of many other chill bars and restaurants, a park to walk in, etc

Meat was not served attractively. It was served on a single metal plate for all three of us who ordered meat. Also bearnaise sauce was finished, so we got some kind of chimichurri sauce instead, which was another dissappointment. Staff was just ok.

This is the point of view of a french man in Helsinki:
This restaurant is supposed to be 'la creme de la creme' for meat lovers and in a way it deserves its reputation. The meat selection is quite good and waiters really know what they are talking about if you ask them technical questions regarding the piece you are planning to eat. That being said the prices are so 'grotesques' that your piece of meat will leave you a bitter taste and the nice but posh atmosphere does not help either.
