We were looking for a traditional restaurant and this restaurant was really perfect. Our waiter was informative and told us all about the menu and specialities of the restaurant. We were not rushed at all. I had the catch of the day (fish) and it was delicious and a good sized portion. The restaurant is also located in a central location which was perfect for us, as we wanted to go out afterwards. Recommended.
We waited 45min for the food. The lamb tasted awful, and it had liver (which was not mentioned in the menu). My girlfriend was also not happy with her salad. The waiter didn't seem to care.
Great food and better prices than the rest of the places nearby
Friendly service and good food. Went in February and restaurant emptied out after about eight thirty
An unassuming place (nicely but plainly decorated) but serving amazing food. Very tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. A bit on the pricey side and portions were somewhat small but given the chance I would love to re-visit.
Best place I went to on a recent visit to Helsinki.
Pricey, like all restaurants in the city, but got the feeling that this was well worth it
very nice low key atmosphere, great food, efficient service (without drooling for a tip, which not being a Yank I hate - did leave one though :) )
Simple and short a la carte list, but they seem to focus on doing it right. Not quite Michelin level but just below it, very good otherwise. Good selection of pre-defined menus and flexibility in adjusting among the table (no need to order the same menu for all).
Very nice place. The national Finnish cuisine is amazing. I was in raptures. The atmosphere in restaurant was pretty sympathetic. Just the service was a bit slow. I suppose it's normal for Finland.
