Beautiful local atmospher
Neighborhood restaurant with fine traditional Finnish home cooking. Service is very great and the ambience is perfect whether you'd like to have proper meal or quick bite and some snacks with your tea or coffee.
The terrace is lovely and food is always good.
Looking for the best Meatballs in Finland? Look no forget. SO GOOD.
Great cosy place for food. Very happy with our order of meatballs (recommended by the staff) and the barley risotto. We were advised to help ourselves to the bread and salad on the side.
If you’re looking for a real Scandi experience you must go to Tori and buy the meatballs. This was recommended to us by our host and heck, I’m glad we went. We shared a plate of mash and meatballs in brandy gravy as we were going out for a big dinner but I’m certain we both could have eaten one each! To make it even more special a church owns the building, and if you’re that way inclined you can eat outside in the courtyard.
Great food at reasonable (for Helsinki) prices, e.g., a really filling burger with a side of chips and salad for around €14. An unfussy and relaxed interior with a hip clientele. They can sometimes have "cash only" days, so check before you order that cards are accepted.
The service can be very slow at times. The last time my friend and I were there two people who came after us got served first, with no explanation. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for our food. They did offer us coffee on the house after our meal, but at the stage we just wanted to leave.
