The only large, local supermarket with long opening hours - from 7-23. A good selection of grocery and household items, although the fresh produce isn't always great, especially late in the evening.

The place includes a few fast food restaurants and an adjoining mall (Seppä). Plenty of free parking space both indoors and outdoors.

Now if only we could get a 24/7 supermarket in JKL, I'd be happy!

It is one of the biggest department stores in Finland at the time of writing. It esily functions as an all-in-one stop for regular shopping needs. It also has self-service registers which save you time when you have small needs. They also have a paid preorder & pickup service, but I have not tested that yet, however I have not heard anything negative about it.

Large Prisma. Nothing different from any other Prisma. And in fact it doesn't feel the largest despite the claims. The one in Joensuu easily beats it.
