Excellent beer, friendly knowledgeable barkeep and chilled out music. Was a bit quiet but it was a Sunday so to be expected. Didn't try the food but it sounds great!

I was there to celebrate my fiance and my first house, we got this bottle of wine without much problem except for a bit of wait, like 10min, and then we sat down at a romantic table with a couple of candles to enjoy the evening, shared the bottle of wine and had a couple of drinks which was really nice!

Sat here a few times only to drink. Their home brews and whiskey are very good. Pleasant atmosphere inside and outside. The bar has board games and a projector screen during sports events (then it gets busy). A bit expensive of a place but generally pleasant and with a good atmosphere.

Great place to grab a local brew, taste one of their numerous whiskeys, or feast on their fantastic grill food. The biergarten is also worth a visit in the summer!

Great place for an after work pint, with several in-house brews to sample. Also, the whisky and wine selections are both impressive and the staff usually quite knowledgeable.

We stood about 15 minutes in front of the waiters at the bar to ask for a table (lots of tables were free), but all of them refused to even look at us - so we tried to take place at one free table - just like other tourists did. Still noone seemed to pay attention. While the other guests right next to us already received the Menue, still no one has even said a word or paid any Kind of attention. So we left quite angrily (we found another very friendly Restaurant right next to it)
I really don't understand why a Restaurant recommended in a Tourist Guide is too proud to serve foreign people.response / report this review -

Housed in an old 19th century school building, this is a large and cozy pub with plenty of room and buckets of character. Featuring a good selection of self-brewed beers and a dedicated wine room, this is the perfect place to enjoy an alcoholic beverage of any variety, whisky included. The price level isn't too bad either, and in the summer, the outdoor courtyard is absolutely lovey and often completely packed. To top it all off, the food is made in house and offers affordable, tasty, large portions for vegetarians and carnivores alike.

Since its a brewery, large assortment of beers. Large halls offers a nice atmosphere for spending night or just having lunch.
