The highland area to the west from the Kevo canyon is very iconic Lapland scenery.

A quite remote wilderness area where there is plenty of solitude. The nearby canyon of Kevo pulls the crowds, and the Paistunturit wilderness stays more peaceful. Not much services (open huts, camp sites etc.) or many marked paths, so experience is needed when hiking here.
