  The age shows, but not as badly as some Sokos hotels in smaller cities. Nothing special, but good clean place to sleep the night, a decent restaurant and a good breakfast, provided you're not vegan. The common sauna wasn't very good itself (too hot to comfortably seat but lackluster löyly), but had a nice view and access to a balcony, which made up a lot.

  Restaurant on the ground floor is incredibly good. Especially the mussel dish and the baked char are the best. If you are disappointed with food of helsinki, this place will change your mind about Finnish food!

  A very basic hotel. Breakfast only until 0930, no bath tubs, no double beds, no wooden floors regardless what their web site says.
  
  They were making renovations so I was brutally woken up by drills, hammering and heavy machinery at 0730.
  
  There was no mention about the renovations upon booking and also no mention that the restaurant was closed for good.
  
  Staff was friendly but clueless, room and bed 3 stars.
  
  Not possible to reserve over HRS.

  The chef is exceptional good -but the hotel management needs to school again. Air condition was promised but wasn't available during 4 hot conference days. Even in the conference room the ventilation didn't work.
  During the last night - after midnight the receptionist phoned us up to clarify some invoice issues.
  I believe we will not use this hotel anymore.
