Great safari experience with snowmobiles. Clothes and equipment for snow and low temperature weather conditions are provided. About 16km ride inside the article circle in lapland, visiting husky and reindeer parks. Hot drinks and food are provided at traditional shettlers during the trip. The crew is very polite and helpful.

An excellent bucket list experience. Snowmobiling to see the Northern lights was fun and exciting. I do think there should be more information given prior to your outing though so you can make more informed choices for your own wellbeing. Everybody copes with cold differently, I would have worn another layer on my upper body and probably taken glove liners and some pocket hand warmers. Phone camera's don't cope well with those temperatures so a normal camera or SLR is probably a safer bet for any chance at recording the experience. If you are wanting to photograph the northern lights do your research prior for the best settings as in the dark(so that you can see them properly) you can't see your settings on your camera. Lapland Safaris provides a hot drink and food at the Aurora Borealis Camp. There is a fireplace and igloos to warm yourself a little.but to be honest its pretty hard to feel any heat through the layers of special wear that is provided to keep you warm out there.
