An enormous industrial building formerly manufacturing steel cables that has been resuscitated as a cultural centre, office space, exhibition space, restaurants, etc. An excellent way to keep old structures and infuse new life into them with valuable contents.

Lovely, characteristic atmosphere in the old cable factory. Fairs tend to be crowded, but the vibe is still nice!

Awesome place! Kaapelitehdas is an old factory converted into a cultural centre, where various private and public organisations are based and can hold events large and small, concerts, exhibitions, fairs and festivals. Perfect example how something old can be turned into fundamental part of new urban culture.response / report this review -

Lot of events happen here as this place can host a large crowd, comfortably. Getting there takes quite some time from the center, and the best is to take a taxi or use the metro connections.

Great place to rent for event management or public occasions. The setting is old harbour, windy and rugged in a modern environment. Easy to get to by tram, metro or bus.
