There was a group of children running around the corridors until late at night. Their room was just in front of mine, they had the door open so I called the receptionist who told me that I "needed to wait" until 10 pm for them to go quiet.
At 10:15 I called again and no one answered.
At 10:30 they were still running so I called again, she said that would go check but even after 11.30 they were making a lot of noise.
I was really tired for the long day traveling, walking and working, the next morning I had an early meeting. All I wished was to sleep quietly which wss not.
The receptionist did not attend my request and I had a very bad experience.
I don't think I want to visit the hotel again.
When groups arrive the best is to block the floor and never put them with other guests.

Great value and location. Outstanding staff both in hotel and restaurant. Pool was a little too cold for us. Loved the kids playroom.

    Good:
It is on a good location, at a walking distance to the main city attractions. One can use the sauna and swimming pool free of charge. The water is cold tough.

    Bad:
Service. It is really bad. People at the reception seem to get mad when one needs their service. I had to talk to them several times, for instance to reprogram my key, to buy products and to ask for fresh towels. I most say that everything, it was almost scaring talking to them. Also, I had to make the bed all the time as they wouldn't do it. sometimes, they wouldn't even changed my wet towels. In resume, the service is extremely poor.

Rooms. Ugly rooms. Beds and sofas in a very bad shape. Very small spaces.

Breakfast: horrible! Same horrible things everyday!!

Very poor value/money relationship as compared to other hotels in better locations. Neither I would recommend it nor come back again.

Simple no frills Hotel in a pretty good location. Ok restaurant and breakfast. Room (single) was alright, nothing to write home about, no bigger complaints either. Generally speaking an alright experience. Recommended if not looking for luxury or an opulent experience. Picture from Lobby supplied.

Central location with quiet rooms, good beds and nice bathroom. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff in reception. Why does the room need a safety chain?

Enjoyed my stay there during a business trip. With it's location right in the center of Turku, it is right round the block from the Aurajoki and all the local restaurants, museums, churches and shopping centers. Also took a stroll down the banks of the river to visit the local naval museum as well as the Turku castle. The hotel itself has very friendly staff who were more than helpful. The indoor swimming pool and sauna also helped a lot after the long days.

Under huge renovation at this moment. Rooms that have not been renovated are not that good. Service and breakfast are good.

in 2016 this hotel was under heavy construction. This lead to noise starting from 7:00 AM. If you're placed in the older part of the hotel you'll findyourself in small dark rooms. The bathrooms and appliances are very dated and not very clean at all. I don't know about the situation in the renovated rooms but my experience made my first visit the last visit to this place. Definetly coming back.

The doors are way thin. Kids playing and screaming like brats, in the hall, woke me up at 7:00 am. I respected others when I came in at 4 am but it seems to me people with kids forget what respect is. The noise from the street is loud and with no AC, you can't sleep. There is no coffee anywhere unless you pay. The prices you would think could at least include free coffe. The rooms are basic, nothing fabulous. I would choose another when I go again. I suggest threw hotel have kid friendly floors and kid free floors.
