Good produce of tap beers, ciders included. Street level part has a nice bar and outdoor seats, too. Evening menus are available. Downstairs there is room for bigger groups and functions, live performances included. Customers seem to be more in their twenties or thirties.

Great beer, great ambiance, good service, mediocre food. Many websites rate these burgers as the best in Helsinki. This isn't even the best burger on the block. I'd bring friends for beer and live music. I don't think I'd ever come back for a meal.

The service was amazingly good. Our orders were taken by a nice lady, they got mixed together but she solved it amazingly. The food was really good, for the price. Only the waiting time for the food is quite long, but worth it.The place is close to the station and in a nice street.

We reserved the cabinet situated behind the bar area. The cabinet was comfortable and relatively well noise-proofed. Everybody was satisfied with the food they ordered and there was a good option to a variety of diets including vegan.

1. Their service is SLOW. As in, "did they forget I'm here?"-levels of slowness.
2. The burger had a super bizarre texture. It was extremely dense, more like a very tough meatloaf than a good burger. Also, the bun was over-toasted to the point of being rock hard.
3. They serve the food on these stone slabs for that authentic "nails on a chalkboard" experience, should you cut to cut your food with a knife.response / report this review -

This used to be very good. Especially the sides were known. On my last visit though the sweet potatoes were semi burned. Polenta fries were in bigger pieces and not as crispy as before. The burgers are still quite good. Pretty good selection of drinks.

One of the worst experiences eating out in Helsinki.
Exaggeratedly pricey hamburgers: 15-19 € for a totally normal hamburger without any side dish is just TOO MUCH for me.
Low quality service: the waiter that complains "don't you see that I have so much to do" when you ask for the second time to replace the empty bottles of water from the tables. Well chances are I'd love to drink with my meal, not back at home!
To top it it is a dark, underground and loud place.
Why would you do that to you? Avoid it, almost anything is better.response / report this review -

Stones is a beer lovers bar. They stock a wide variety of beverages on tap as well as on the shelf. The staff is very friendly and the kitchen produces some of the best burgers in town! If you want a cheap pint of bulk lager, Stones isn't for you. If on the other hand you are interested in seasonally changing variety of beers from around the world and good honest burgersto enjoy them with, then the place is highly recommendable.
