This hotel excelled in every way, location is perfect - central to the town and only 30 seconds from the number 8 bus stop (if you want to visit Santa Claus village).
Room was large, bed was comfy, shower was excellent, breakfast has a large selection of fresh and healthy items and the bar has some decent beers (Icelandic Einstock and wines). But the most impressive thing about this hotel is the staff, they're all welcoming, friendly and eager to help in any way they can.
If you're staying in Rovaniemi then I'd definitely recommend the Arctic light hotel.

Great rooms and high quality all around. Very friendly staff. Free, but rather limited parking for quests. Excellent breakfast.

Breakfast is really good and the presentation is nice . In busy mornings breakfast tables can be quite empty, so you better be in good time.
Beds are really comfortable and rooms upstairs are peacefull. You wont hear any noise from the traffic.
Room downstairs next to road was quite noisy, but not at nighttime. That room.was also quite cold, even for a person who is from Lapland.
Decoration and the feeling in this hotel is everything you need from a good hotel when on holiday or even in businesstrip.
Location is perfect.
Only four stars because of the room next to road was so cold and you could hear the traffic.

No info about that the Arctic room was located underground! No remote Control to the TV, when we get the remote Control the TV didn't work. The heater for the car didn't work. A big disapointment! Booked two nights, left the hotel after one night. Get no refund. Great breakfast and comfortable beds. But a big NO for this hotel from us.

Charming hotel, with a very well decorated and comfortable lounge and rooms. It feels really cozy, and they have bikes you can use along with the sauna you can reserve. Breakfast is good too with many choices. Would definitely stay again!
