  Yilma hotel is the best hotel you will find in Holeta. The manager is truly nice and will make sure you stay is as nice as possible. Although not many staff speak english, you always (well almost always) get yourself understood and staff are super nice. They have a nice courtyard with a restaurant where you can eat and relax, with a small hidden beautiful garden in the back. Rooms were clean and came around 20 dollars which is reasonable. Rooms are basic but very good for Holeta. I have no complaints to make. You can leave your valuables at their reception if you are concerned but honestly, I never felt this was needed. Very close to Menagesha Suba Forest Park, Holeta and Yilma Hotel particularly has been a great place to stay. I have put only 4 stars, because in comparison to other accommodation you might elsewhere it is not a 5 stars, however for Holeta, it is. You will be looked after there.

  Unfortunately I was robbed of a lot of valuables at this hotel, while I was eating at the hotel restaurant. Since my room door was locked again after the theft, it seems the hotel staff was involved. The hotel said they would refund the stolen goods, but I never received any compensation.
