The place is strategically located, you can easily reach the the Airport and the receptionist was welcoming. However, there were some strange voices from some room upstairs that disturbed me around 3am.
Not so fancy guest house. The plumbing system is not so good. They have good customer service. If you are looking for a serene environment to stay while in Addis, you can visit Weygoss
Very nice place to be
Medium price. Good for the basics. Got water and simple breakfast. Airport shuttle costs 10$ in 2017. Quiet and secure. Gated. Acceptable WiFi. Tv useless very small number of channels and most in amharic. Very close to airport road. Close to supermarket and bakery. Has many restaurants nearby. Room was very clean. Nice balcony. I didn't try other options to compare but it is recommended.
One of the few places with English speaking staff.
It is close to the airport and near modest restaurants.
Best Place To stay they are so nice. The lady who brought me my breakfast was always smiling.
The staff here is fantastic! They take such good care of you and are very kind. Breakfast is included and you can have it in your room or down in the main area (my preference
Stayed here twice (October - December 2011, and December 2012), and will definitely stay again the next time we are back in Addis Ababa. The wonderful staff really make you feel welcome. Also, as an American in Ethiopia for the first time, I appreciated that this guest house was very popular with other westerners (Americans, Canadians, Dutch, and others, including many adopting / adoptive families), so there were always people to talk to over breakfast and we made some really nice friends there during our long stay in 2011. Our kids loved playing in the small courtyard, and we all felt very safe and comfortable. Wifi is available, as well as kitchenettes. There are also several restaurants nearby that deliver - you can place your order at the front desk and they will call it in for you. Convenient location - many shops within walking distance. You can even walk to Meskel Square pretty easily - we went a few times, including during the "Great Ethiopian Run" 10k race, which was incredible to witness.
