BE AWARE! Do not take pictures of the military base next door - you can get in a lot a lot a lot of trouble. Also Massive Turtles!!! Just walking around outside eating the grass. Very docile but big. The church is cool too - Salasie's daughter is buried here - Ethiopia's first female nurse (or at least registered nurse)

Menelik Ⅱ,one of the greatest emperor of Ethiopia was buried here along with his wife and daughter. And it is said that a Michelangelo painting was locked in this monastery.
