One of the beat hotels in Addis. The prce is tough high for What you get.
Dining options are poor. The hotel is tough clean well maintained and seevice is very good.
Perfect for business, I will not chose it for vacantion tough.

So let me start with first impressions which started at the airport. I've utilised several of the hotels in Addis Ababa over the last few years and often there is a wait before one gets their complimentary shuttle. A week ago, passing through to India, I waited possibly an hour for the shuttle of one of the top hotels.

This was my first stay at the Radisson - imagine walking to their kiosk at Bole Airport and possibly within 1-5 minutes I was whisked to their van and taken to the hotel. Check in was smooth, but whilst waiting for the paperwork, the lights went out. Soon thereafter it could have been their generators that kicked in or power returned.

So I'm in the lift which needs the key card to function when on the six floors lights go out again - the emergency light stays on and I'm patient, but a few minutes later that goes off too and the lift is in total darkness. But as it showed floor 6 before darkness crept in, I thought, let me check if I can open the doors and voila, it did. There was a phone in the lobby so I called the concierge - please take the stairs which I dutifully did - then came the bummer, it needed the keycard to open and with the power out, that did not work. Fortunately after a few minutes, a client walked past the door and I could attract her attention to open.

In the passage, power returned so opening my room door was not a problem. Had I been a bit squeamish, I would have freaked out, but it happens, so I don't blame the hotel.

I got a nice surprise in that I had one of their Business rooms. I'd been to the Hilton in Pune last month, and was impressed and here the same.

The room is/was everything that one can dream about with complimentary of everything. Beverages, toiletries, etc. One of the few hotels that has face cloths in the bathroom.

I had a cheese sandwich/french fries brought by room service - unfortunately no tin opener for the Coca Cola. Dinner had a great variety with plenty options for vegetarians and the food was well prepared. Staff from security to concierge was all helpful.

My kettle didn't work so late at night I had maintenance coming to check it out.

A bonus is the shoe shine machine on each floor. They have an in-house 24 hour gym/fitness centre as well as a spa. There is also a coffee shop and kiosk selling souvenirs.

Bad location .. Poor area around .. can't walk around
Quality of food in restaurant is just fair
Room was clean
Offered water tea and coffee but no slippers
Too expensive for the service provided

Upmarket, well established and professional service. Geared for allowing you to do business on site. The added benefits of Business Class includes a lot of luxuries.

Quite pricey, but has a beautiful outdoor terrace for hanging out. The servers were not the best but it could be a one time thing. Radisson also offers decent spa packages. Parking is often a bit tight but guys outside will sort you out.

I have lived in Addis for just under a year now and this is the best place to go for good, safe food. The service is outstanding, and you are always greeted with a smile. Very few places compete with their level of service, standard of food and warmth!

The hotel looks nice and we decided to eat at the French res.The food and service is the worst I had in Addis so far! The server too busy to pay attention to clean other dirty tables and the food is so cold,and everything they serve so bad and some of the food
went bad!! I will never go back!!

A beautiful, business centred hotel that is right at the heart of Addis. This is one place I love to visit whenever I am in the city. Great staff, beautiful rooms, great service.

A wonderful place to be. I stayed here for more than 6 months and was my second home. Friendly people, good facilities, the hotel with best internet connectivity in Ethiopia. Good combination of food. Willing to customize in request. Is in an ideal location too.

I tasted the dinner buffet, best chefs in town. The cheese burger is no like other found in entire Addis. The only thing that will complain in their service is your pocket ($$$).

Reservation was piece of cake with Henok. Thanks for Alex for setting up the room as we requested. Excellent hotel and kept extremely clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. The front desk has been incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. Check in was smooth, and efficient thanks for Abiy. Our room was WONDERFUL. Breakfast area is spacious and one of the best in a hotel we have experienced. Fresh fruit in addition to all the other hot and cold items. The service at the breakfast in the morning, was amazing. The warm greeting in the morning from Hana and Sara along the young man Mikias (Miki) who is walking around asking if we wanted hot coffee or hot tea was something we have never seen before.
The Housekeeping ensured our room was immaculate on a daily basis. Thank you for Selamawit and……….). We also enjoyed our evening at the bar, the food and the service, was perfect… hats off for Sentayeu and Adina.

Concierge was incredible, we did not have to worry where to store our luggage since Habtamu took care of it while we left the Radisson for a few days of travel outside of Addis. We did not have to hustle for checking out since Radisson has Abel there on the spot to help us with our luggage and also made it easy when we were in need for public transportation.
We are hoping we were generous enough as they were very attentive and efficient with the service that we have been offered throughout our stay.
I do wish the room had a microwave - eating out every day comes with a lot of leftovers that I have to throw away since I have nothing to warm them for late night snack.

Have only eaten at the restaurant and enjoyed drinks at the bar. All experiences of good quality. Staff know their jobs and perform well. A very good, but expensive, buffet can fill the appetite of most people - from entree through dessert.

One of the nicest hotels in Addis if you can afford it! Nice spot for drinks, but you will definitely pay for it - much higher prices than the rest of Addis.
The Rainforest Spa is to be recommended too.
