This place is just really unique, kinda hub for everyone from different direction to take the next bus (or taxi). Super busy and super confusing if you not speak Amharic at all. And even if you looked so lost and not sure where to go there is a possibility someone will try to pick pocket you. So make sure you aware of what you doing and know where you going. The safest is put all of your important belonging somewhere safe then you can enjoy the walk without any worries.
I love to come here and just see people passing by, it is so amazing how people deal with it every day.response / report this review -

Mexico square named after Mexico because Mexico was one of only five countries which opposed the Italian occupation of Ethiopia as part Second Italo-Ethiopian War, a key moment in Ethiopia–Mexico relations. it is a beautiful square in Addis Ababa plus the new railway line adds beauty to it.
