If you have eaten injera, this should be the next restaurant to try. Very good food with friendly staff. It's a quiet romantic vibe. The garden is a nice setting. The owner and chef is French, his dad is quite often in the restaurant in the evening.

Lovely comfortable restaurant with a pleasantly surprising menu unlike any other in Addis. Sat outside for lunch. The staff was attentive (not searching for a waitress for more napkins or salt), but checked in often enough to feel like they took pride in the service they were giving. Food was amazing. Just a little confusion with the bill but an over all great experience!

La Mandoline has a quiet atmosphere, incredible food, and reasonable prices - Finding all of those things in one place can be difficult to find in Addis. It's the perfect place to take a date or celebrate an anniversary.

La Mandoline is a restaurant without a prime location, but with a very comfortable atmosphere (it has tables inside and outside) and a menu offering well-composed, freshly made french dishes. This time, I tried the beef carpaccio as a starter and the "coquelet", prepared in a pot with some vegetables and a tasty sauce. Delicious. The restaurant may chose to invest a bit in the skills of its staff; the young lady who brought the glass of red wine, was not able to explain what kind of wine she was serving. "French?" she guessed - yes; probably. But this doesn't matter, the food is worth going there.

Good French Restaurant. It's a bit price most thier meals are north of 250 birr after tax and service charge. Plus very few selection of food.

French dining in Ethiopia. Seemed popular with business and professional set. Food was good by Ethiopian standards, Ethiopia is not a foodie destination.

Classic Addis dinner spot. Reliably quality French food and friendly staff, reasonably priced. Specials change from time to time but the fillet steak is good as is the stuffed chicken and the pork.
