Homeland Hotel has some very interesting funs, games and movies including 7D, 12D movies. Great place to visit while in Bahar Dar.

Actually I came here for lunch, it's extremely good.
Menu consists of Ethiopian traditional food, Chicken, Lamb, Fish, Beef items and pizza, beverages etc.

Last night, while staying at the hotel, I was suddenly taken acutely ill.

I requested the hotel to save me; the hotel responded like a real friend.

They personally escorted me to a clinic through their own vehicle, lent me local currency for the medical expenses, stayed in the clinic with me, helped me see the doctor, get my blood tested, bought me antibiotics, saw me back to my room in the hotel. Amazing people.

Amazing time spent in the pool. Sadly going to the pool,gym, or arcade costs so much if you go them all. The chlorine level in the pool is low too.

When our flight to Addis from Bahir Dar was cancelled the airline booked us in this hotel. So glad they did because it was very comfortable, clean and modern. Staff were especially helpful considering it was a last minute booking for a large group. We were a large group and enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant. As it was just one nights stay I wasn't particularly concerned with the poor WiFi.

Other than the fact that their WiFi is slow over all service is good. Renting a room gives you access to the gym and swimming pool.

Most comfortable hotel in Bahir Dar. Good services for a good price, wifi free, clean rooms, good restaurant, best staff. But far to the centre, in evening time is difficult to get a Bajaj(tuk tuk)
