  This is a review for Grand Awash 2. I don't think Grand Awash is open right now and don't know if this location is correct.
  
  GA2 is on the 3rd floor with glass windows and tables overlooking a busy street. The menu is international (burgers, pizza, pasta) and traditional. Food was all right - we had stir fry chicken with rice and fish goulash. Chicken with rice was a little bland but filling (large portion). Dinner for two with two soft drinks came to 300 birr total. The place was clean except for a cat wandering around. There is an open kitchen. There is an elevator to go up there if needed. It seems popular with tourists and locals. WiFi is present but slow.

  Basic but good. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Internet can be very spotty. Would stay again overall.

  The food was good enough but the waiters are few in number and staffing is a must. The WC needs to be cleaned as it is too stinky for a well known restaurant for the city.

  Well organized place to enjoy. While staying in here you won't fell alone because there are so many things to enjoy with. Good hospitality with nice DJ as well. If you are about to stay in Mekele this is the must to see club. Have to Branches in the heart land of the town.

  A Restaurant, bar and lounge in central part of Mekele where you can watch live sport games while having drinks. The indoor lounge bar also popular the whole week playing trending local and international songs played by good DJs. Enjoyed the house pizza from their menu. It gets a bit crowded on the weekend though. The TV on the outside bar should be bigger where it gets difficult to watch a sporting event clearly from far.
