  I camped here for 1 night and found a used hyperdermic needle in the camping area only 2m from my tent. The staff removed the needle and offered no appologies.
  This place is overpriced, dirty and only good for visiting briefly to take in the lake view.
  Stay somewhere else.

  Superb location but I felt like I was being overcharged for everything. 10% surcharge on all bills for the bar/restaurant. I also felt continually hassled by the staff to take trips with them - for high prices of course. They continually discouraged me from doing things I suggested like hiring a bike (because they wouldn't make money off it). The rooms need a bit of renovation too. This place takes its reputation for granted and will continue to do so because of its listing in the Bradt guidebook and the fact that the 11 hour bus from Addis stops outside the gate.
  
  Stay away from Solomon, he is well known for overcharging for boat trips etc
  
  The toilets behind the bar area are filthy and in a very poor state of repair.
  
  This place clearly makes money but it seems obvious that it's all being pocketed and not reinvested in the business. Sad.

  Très beau jardin, mais chambres vieillottes et inégales. Personnel pas toujours très aimable
