Nice music and performance.
I should visit again to see the owner's professional dance performance.
Every monday there is a jazz concert. Very nice!
Good for Ethio-jazz, traditional dance
They are so funny and they are expensive so i suggest you should try it
An institution of its own rights - try one of their big jazz nights on a Friday and get blitzed on their delicious (yet lethal) honey wine ‘Tej’. Keep some cash with you to tip the hilarious guy on the Masenco and the spectacular dancers
If you are jazz person, then go there Monday or Thursday !
Its very simple, but the vibes and music are in different frequency !
Awesome venue for music and dance
What a great great place!!!
An oasis for lovers and enthusiasts of culture. The location is simple, raw, non pretentious and definitely not suitable for those who need luxury/high commodities. This spot feels like steping in a small hut in the country side, but it is located in the heart of the Ethiopian capital. Live music & dancing happens quite often (Fridays and Mondays for example) ranging from the most traditional to modern jazz. Beers, ouzo and honey wine are available in the bar, as well as some ethiopian dishes and coffee, prepared in the good old way. A must if you want to enjoy the local talent. Notice that there's a cover entrance (50 birr per person) and that the restrooms are quite rudimentary.
One of my favorite places in Addis for atmosphere. They have traditional dance and music and often feature some big names in Ethio Jazz. Compared to other traditional dance places the dance company genuinely enjoys dancing and the pure joy resonates around the room. The place is small and almost always packed so get there early. Some of my greatest memories from Addis are at Fendika.
Gooooood vibes!
Really cool live Music , Ethiopian Jazz & local dancing. Chilled out vibe with nice people.
