Worst stable ever. First off it takes about an hour to get up there and the horses stink really bad.The staff are not help full and it's way overpriced and we did not get what we came for. I would give it zero stars if I could.

We (family of 5) just enjoyed a 2 hour 45 minute ride for 5000ETB (it was supposed to be 2 hours, but we were slow). The views are great. The terrain is challenging, the horses are well kept and beautiful, and have interesting personalities. They picked the horses for us well—the most docile (and pokey) for our 8yo, a nice old fellow who wanted to keep up with the younger crowd for me. My older son’s horse was quite feisty, but he was able to manage him. One of our kids had a hard time managing her horse at a canter, but the guide helped her out competently. It was nicer than the docile nags that you get at home who hardly wish to move.

The friendly dogs greeted us, but the youngest one jumped in our car before we could get it out and peed on the seat. They squirreled that one away really quickly and didn’t let it out again until we were gone. Not too big a deal—it was a puppy. The older dogs were really affectionate and well behaved.

I thought it quite pricey—they said lessons were 300etb per hour.

One thing that must be mentioned is the rather alarmingly bumpy 4km road that you must traverse to get there. We don’t have an SUV, so I felt it put six months wear on the car. For 700ETB, they will pick you up and take you in.

Really wonderful experience. Great guides, lovely and delightful horses, wonderful scenery, and chance to get away for a half day. A tad pricey, and a difficult ride in (and beware the puppy!).
