  The place is classy and nice but the service was a little bit slow but at least they were friendly loved the desserts the food and the live performance but it was way too expensive.

  Sweet Jesus was this place:
  
  a) hard to find
  b) hellaciously expensive
  c) generally inconvenient
  d) quite delicious
  
  Now, donut get me wrong, Allebnany is very good, and the atmosphere is among the best in Addis. But not only was I frisked upon entering, getting into a argument with the guard to convince him that no, I won't use the water in my water bottle but instead will buy a 35birr HALF LITRE bottled water, or pay 80birr for a Bedele!! Sweet Moses is this place expensive. That being said, I really enjoyed the felafel and vegetable dish I got. The kebab not so much. My recommendation, get a couple vegetable based dishes to share, skip the meat (who needs meat?!). Also, drink plenty of water before you get there, then hydrate upon leaving. Save yourselves. Also, probably don't bring a bag to the restaurant.
