A regular place to have a decent lunch for us. We have a holiday place nearby and the staff are ever polite and courteous. Especially the Indian boys. Open 365 days even on rainy days. A place where you can just chill out and enjoy the scenery. Summer time, it's open well after midnight. Wonderful Italian ice creams are a treat. I hope it stays as it is!!!

Lots of attention to detail on the decor which make it feel really special. There are numerous chill out areas where you can enjoy the sun, the views of the Mar Menor and La Manga and soak up the atmosphere of the beach with a bit of privacy.
The beach is super, well maintained and cleaned daily by the local council. The sea is warm, shallow and safe. Ideal for kids or people interested in water sports. We rented a jet ski but you can also rent boats to explore the Mar Menor.
Staff were lovely, especially the cleaning ladies who kept the place spotless. The reception staff were really helpful also and responded quickly any time we needed anything. They also spoke good English.
The kitchenette was clean and adequately equipped and we managed to cook several satisfactory meals.
There's a Spar minimarket 2 mins walk away and a bigger Mercadona in Cabo de Palos 10 mins drive away. The Spar would actually be adequate if you didn't have a car or didn't feel like driving. It had a huge range including a butcher /cheese /cured meat counter plus lots of gluten free products which we needed.
The studio was a good size and had a great bathroom and shower.
Being able to use the washing machine was fantastic as we really needed to keep towels washed (see below).
We didn't eat in the restaurant or try the bar but both looked great.
Wi-Fi was excellent and never failed.
Street parking was no problem and free.
A very safe village, lots of Spanish families on holidays or day trips. Felt very secure.
TV with CNN /Sky if that's what you're in to!
This was a gorgeous place to stay except for the noise (see below) but if you think you could ignore the noise or not try to go to sleep before 12am you'd really enjoy your stay here.
-The noise from other guests banging doors, and from the bar when there was live music. Even though there are only 10 (or so) studios on the first floor it's noisy. This is because the corridor is echo-y and the studio doors and internal bathroom doors all BANG! You can also hear your neighbours putting away plates etc Things eventually got quiet around 12am and nights when there were fewer guests staying.
If you think you could ignore the noise or not try to go to bed before 12am you'd really enjoy your stay here.
Again, the reception staff were really helpful and moved us to a quieter room the moment we mentioned the noise.
-The bar had live music til 2am on one night. It wasn't REALLY bad, but surprising for a place that markets itself as relaxing.
-Getting a change of towels and sheets every third day. You can pay for more frequent changes if you wish. I ended up washing our towels (just one big towel and one small towel each) every day.
