Nice large zoo with a lot of animals. However in many cases animals live in concrete “bunkers” with a little foliage which is shame.

Great Day Here, Friendly Staff with English and Great directions on the signs. Kids/Families will love it here.

P.s unless you're getting a taxi directly to the main gates, be prepared to walk a good bit from the metro station to the gates and then obviously around the huge compound where there's animals almost everywhere.

A great zoo with lots of animals. Easy to get around. Very clean and the animals appear well cared for. Easy to get to via car and ample free parking. Great day out. If ideas in Madrid again I would revisit.

Very nice zoo. Very family friendly. The peanut catching bears alone are worth the trip.

The price is quite expensive at 23 euros for me as an exchange students. However, I found it worthy as there is large variety of animals, like even emu and kangeroo.

Nevertheless, I would recommend more staff to monitor tourists to see the animals, as there are like 20 primary school students surrounding the field of brown bears shouting loudly to the bears. It may scare the bear and should not be done in my opinion.

Try to spend like 3 hours to study well all animals if you are an animal lover!

Lovely walk around the zoo seeing animals from near and afar. Pandas are a MUST see! All the enclosures are big and spacious for the animals. Very pretty zoo, only downside is the drinks machines around the zoo weren't working (due to down season I guess)

We had a blast! The zoo is well organized (by countries) and very clean. There is so many different animals and fishes (they have an aquarium)! We paid around 19€ per person (bought the tickets online). The zoo is easily accessible if you don't have a car; you can take the metro and walk a bit or a bus. We had a great time ! Good activity for one day.
