Amazing landscape! You should definitely go there, when you are around. There are two trails, are short one (1.5km) and a longer one (3km). Take the long one, just to spend more time between the rocks! Perfectly quiet there and the trail is an easy one, apart from the stones lying in the path. You don't have to climb but it is a little up and down. But worth it!

Great place for a hike. Beautiful views and special rock formations. Take your time and enjoy. The only downside are the screaming kids walking around in groups.

Beautiful and amazing place, BUT don't ever go there in the weekends at about lunch and a couple of hours into the afternoon if possible. We did together with a lot of spanish families on sunday picnic also bringing the family dog, the former speaking loudly without any considerations at all and the later barking at another families ditto pet. It pretty much ruined the experience. So if you fancy nature in the wild and a place to park choose Monday to Friday. The rock formations themselves? They are incredible and so are the view and the whole area.

The stone formations are definitely worth the long mountain roads one has to drive along to get there. They are a truly amazing sight.
On the only day we could visit the El Torcal we unfortunately had a lot of rain and we were in the middle of the clouds around the visitor center.
However even in bad weather I would recommend going there. We certainly missed some of the views due to the clouds, but it was still easily worth it. Not least because there was no one else around, which I think always makes for a different experiences than if you are standing there with many other people.response / report this review -

Although it was very foggy, limiting the views, a tremendous day in nature with outstanding geology, excellent facilities. Will definitely go back when better weather! And do a more thorough review!

This is a beautiful landscape.
The walk (we did the longer one), was wonderful but the paths rough with minor scrambling involved. It was very hot the day we were there, even though it's high up. You're in a stone bowl of sunshine - take plenty of water.response / report this review -

Impressive rock formation. Easy trails. Parking on site. Only 1 hr away by car from Malaga.
