We have an apartment in San Javier and after playing the Lottery with car hire companies a few times I starting comparing costs, service and convenience and came to the conclusion that Solmar Car Hire offers the best service all year around. They do not have a physical presence in the asamblea Javier airport but there is a courtesy bus that picks you up and drops you off. I find that their prices are the most competitive all year around and they do not profiteer by raising fees in the high season. I would always take their Super cover and go directly as after over 20 years of hiring cars in Spain I find them to be the most consistent delivering value and a great service.

The Pick up from the airport was on time, the journey to the office to collect our vehicle was only a short trip and the transaction to sort the vehicle out was only 5 minutes! so all in all, our experience of using Solmar was Excellent! I will add that the 9 seat minibus that i rented was in good condition and and the drop off process was a quick one. I would definitely recommend booking the super cover when you book online, no extras at the desk. ( hired 18/05/17-21/05/2017).

Excellent service as usual, nice vehicle, full to full petrol and inclusive insurance, well worth the money and no hassle to sell you extra insurance or high prices for fuel, we will be using you again in September when we return. Keep up the good work, your staff are very helpful and friendly.

Excellent and efficient service. As with all hire companies in Spain you need to be mindful of additional insurance charges and the cost of fuel if you are not full to full but overall a very good service from being collected at the airport to collecting the car. Very good.

Beware they are very good at charging for every extra kilometre. Also price jumps if you want to renew contract.
