Buen lugar con una atención inmejorable por parte de Jesús. Los miércoles organizan flamenco y los jueves blues. Enclavado en el casco antiguo de Almuñecar.. Hay que subir una buena cuesta para llegar pero merece la pena. Totalmente recomendable la tostada de carne de ciervo.

Taberna restaurante sita en un barrio histórico y que ocupa una casa de rancio abolengo. Excelentes tapas y carta estupenda. Los arroces merecen todos los elogios posibles, sin desmerecer el resto de platos, muy buena atención y muy agradables la pareja que lo regenta . Una experiencia grata y verdaderamente sorprendente es la que se llevarán los visitantes cuando lo descubran.

Traditional spanish food and nice tapas. Lovely traditional interior but found the chairs very uncomfortable ! Wednesday night Flamenco and Thursday's blues guitar (very good).

Un sitio estupendo, muy andaluz y con animación flamenca los miercoles, buenas raciones y a un precio asequible, trato familiar y muy agradable, es un sitio pequeño y conviene reservar, sobre todo si hay actuación flamenca

Dropped in at 20:30 on a Saturday. The place was conspicuously quiet (being the only patrons), but in these parts this is an early dinner. The jovial host showed our party of 8 to a table. He spoke no English (and us no Spanish) but with good humour we muddled through. The menu seemed a little limited, especially for the kids, but needn't have been concerned - what landed on our table was the tastiest dishes we'd eaten and at a very reasonable price. To kick off, an unexpected beef pâté and tomato confit with melba toast arrived - everyone was fighting for more of it. Then this little tavern dished up the most delicious pork steaks - as juicy and tender as any beef steak, succulent and rich venison stew, a formidable leg of lamb, a refreshing cod fish in tomato sauce and creamy chicken breast stuffed with mango. Nothing particularly fancy, but cooked to perfection. Would definitely return.
