I never give any restaurant a 5 unless, inter alia, it is seriously devoted to local home-grown or home caught ingredients but periodically I have had a duck and boletus edulis paella here which has been superb. This sort of paella does not work with frozen fungi so questions need asking beforehand. Authentic fresh fungi here, sourced from Los Alcornocales, are at their best in October. Otherwise the atmosphere is agreeable and the location delightful. Free parking underneath.

Arroz pasado, soso, flojo y pastoso. Lo siento, no lo pude ánimar ni con limón, sal ni al i oli. Postre 'casero" crema catalana, líquida, sin caramelo apenas y con sabor nada casero, para mi. El servicio es correcto, pero no es simpático, mi experiencia. Era la primera vez en la nueva ubicación. Me ha dado pena, xq iba mucho al anterior y era el mejor arroz de la zona. A ver en verano que tal

The speciality is rice, and you get a separate rice menu. It has twenty-odd possibilities, we tried only two - the Arroz a Banda, and the Arroz con pollo y verduritas. Both delicious. The servings were meant for two, but were so generous that 2x2 was more than enough for five, after sharing three first courses tapas-style.

They also do a take-away service where you ring up and order your rice then come to collect it.

Good choice of wine, well priced.

Service friendly and professional.

All in all, a good experience.
