Worst place and customer service in Spain experience
We put our name on the list and It’s been almost 40 mins standing outside. It was our turn and they gave outside seating to the group came after us. What’s the use of putting name on the list. The waitress don’t know what they doing. Patricia, Betty and Sandra. They know they did mistake but still rude. Not a good place. Don’t recommend this placeresponse / report this review -

I just love this place - it is so Madrid ! Not perfect but they keep on improving and modernizing their menus - keeping the same tradition of excellent quality ! Small details during covid makes a big difference : a small bad to put your mask, spoon packaged in a plastic bag, etc …. I live the counter of minutes you get when you order tea .. I feel pampered ! Thank you Mallorca ..

Coffee is very good as will the dessert. They have good offers buy coffee and dessert for €6.27. Excellent service and nice staff. ☺️

A very nice place, we just had a coffee and a cappuccino along with a tasty almond croissantvery smart, they provide a paper bag to keep your mask while enjoying your stay in the distance we saw many other gourmets I guess we will have to come backshopping in Calle de Serrano and enjoying good Spanish delicacy is indeed a great mix!!

Wide variety of options at this restaurant. You can stop for a meal, a quick bite or just a coffee. Or you can pick up fresh meats, desserts, sandwiches or wines. Lovely quick service.

we're always stopping by here when in Madrid for the pastries (eat in and take out), chocolates, sandwiches and either morning snack items with coffee or afternoon sweets with coffee or a vino
Very good quality produce, presentation and selection with friendly service and a decent and reasonably well decorated cafe area - it generally always seems to get busy when we are there with a mixture of the local residents and people in the area
Well priced and fitting for the location as it is central Madrid

Delicious bakery / deli with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! All staff were super friendly and efficient, serving up your order within 10mins. I didn't find the desayuno (breakfast) sets over priced, it was €4 for my combo of croissant ham sandwich and cappuccino. The store was filled with delicious pastry, cakes and a large wine cellar downstairs. Wine prices were good, between €10-30/bottle depending on your budget. This is a neighborhood gem and a great spot for brunch / afternoon tea!

Arrived after a very early flight and just wanted to have a nice little breakfast. Although we tried our best to speak Spanish (we were also by no means loud, obnoxious, or advertising that English was our native tongue), we were treated like pond scum. Service was unfriendly, speaking unnecessarily quickly, showing no respect for our timid but sincere attempts to communicate, slamming down plates, purposely forgetting items we had coherently asked for and refusing to return a single smile. This was our first trip to Madrid and our first real interaction with locals. It definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. The food was average at best and some items were overpriced.
