I usually chose to stay at Paradores because of the charm of the historic places they are built in (ie Cuenca, Leon, Santiago de Compostela) or the unique location of view they offer (ie Baiona).
In the case of the Parador of Teruel nothing like this.
It is out of Teruel center, it has been half renovated, still it is not really new Don't misunderstand, this is still a good place to stay,but really nothing specific about it. I am sure there are better options around.

Paradors are usually great places to stay in great positions with great views but for some reason this one seems to be in the middle of a major road junction.

This is a parador that is not of the many others we visited. No information about the area or the hotel. No events announced in the parador. Dinner was very expensive and of poor quality. It said it had a four star rating, I would give it a three.

Muy tranquilo. La atención es espectacular. Se come de lujo. En verano la terraza de fuera es un sitio para estar muy agradable.

Es muy bello el edificio, habitaciones espaciosas con una temperatura muy agradable. Buffet estupendo. La única pega es la cercanía de la carretera y que sólo se puede acceder en coche.

Nice building and good sized room, but totally spoilt by the dreadful smell of sewage in the reception areas and corridors! Thankfully this did not extend into the bar and restaurant. Thought the menu in the restaurant was rather limited and consisted of mainly rather odd Spanish delicacies which did not appeal. However, the sirloin steak was excellent!
