Nice great environment to be in, please at friendly people, lovely restaurant's, it's not your very big city kind of place, but it's a lovely place place, has loads of historic buildings, an artificial river in a park where you can go relax
Amazing Parador, dinner perfect and beautiful bodega for coffee
Another parador created out of a former convent. This is a large building with many stairs and corridors so even after 2 nights we were still a little confused especially as the entrance from the garage is directly opposite that from the street. We were amused that the rooms were referred to as celdas rather than habitaciones
It's our third visit to the Parador.
It has an underground garage, which is useful as the dog came with us.
The Parador, a former Dominican monastery, is beautiful, with spacious bedrooms, the former monk's cells. (They lived well, though the monk's cells in the Parador de Corias are even bigger.)
The town is also lovely, and for those who like to jog, or walk, accompanied by a dog or not, there is a riverside walk and also a park on an island in the river which is close to the Parador.
There are lots of bars in the Plaza Mayor, I recommend Bar Español.
This is as Harry Potter as it gets south of the UK. Don't miss the stairs by the cafeteria. Impressive setting. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Can't miss the car garage! A real experience
A beautiful place to stay in Plasencia. Sensitively restores and preserved. On a hot day, the cafe here is the most tranquil place to hangout and cool down.
Great little town, historic parador located conveniently close to the centre
Confortable rooms that used to be the residence of the monks. Air conditioner/Heather on the rooms.
Amazing historic building
Has a swimming pool
Also has a lift for disabled access
Great food and service
Good location. Parking is included. Kind staff. Meals are not the best and not worthy for the piece, better if you look for a good restaurant in city.
This hotel will blow your mind. It is an ancient palace turned into a high-class hotel. Don't miss the late night vodka bar in the cellar.
