Great location. Superb, sympathetically designed modern hotel beside hilltop castle site. Spacious rooms, lots of superior comfort touches. Dinner was a little disappointing (bland?).

Fantastic place built into and around archeological remains of the castle. High standard of decor and cuisine in an imposing position. Amazing place.

A lovely location and a revisit 12 months on. The restaurant Marmitia at Parador de Lorca does not disappoint. Good menu and choice the food was enjoyable. Splendid views and friendly staff completed the evening nicely.

Great Paradores steeped in history but modernised. Only complaint as was here for a few days menu does not change and after lunch and dinner a little bored (could use a daily special changing dish or two),limited selection of drinks and as with all castles steep tight access. Really great views.

Great views, excellent staff, marvelous installations and delightful food. It's a must when you came to Lorca. It also has a cool spa with very kind staff

Location was amazing great view across the plains/mountains. The hill was a bit inconvenient as it was a windy drive up everytime you wanted to leave to do something. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable, however you have to leave your room key in a slot for the AC to work, and they only give you one key, so the room won't cool when you aren't inside it; you have to wait for room to cool once you are back, not a big issue though. The service in the restaurant was average but the food was very tasty once we got it.
