Four stars for the service. They hotel itself is beautiful. This Parador is a must in Chinchon. They need to improve their guest service. Most (not all) front desk employees are rude. Restaurant waiters also seem to hate their jobs. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful! We were given a 2 night stay as a wedding present and chose this Parador for it's proximity to Madrid where we included another night's stay.
The hotel is amazing, so beautiful with every attention to detail to make the rooms beautiful and comfortable. The staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and they all spoke English!
The breakfasts were delicious, so much choice and the scrambled eggs were fantastic.
We paid to park in the underground car park but you could have parked on the streets further up from the hotel, or near the castle. The cost was only 23€ for the two days though, so we thought it was worth it.
We both absolutely loved the hotel and would recommend it to anyone.
