The Parador de Benavente is this charming little town's primary attraction. Built into the remains of an authentic castle, hundred of years old, it retains it's old-school appeal while blending seemlessly into the park that has been built to surround it. This park and the Parador both sit stop a hilltop from which the surrounding fields can bee seen for many miles. It's a fantastic place to stay, eat, explore, or maybe even just take a walk at.

Superb Service at the Front Desk and Restaurant. Large and well furnished rooms, very comfortable. Will return. As usual Paradores is an excellent choice.

Great traditional parador with nice large room opening onto the garden with swimming pool and garden bar terrace.
We had a great lunch outside, all served by lovely staff. Bar snacks available in the evening or main restaurant available. Great views of the sunset.

Cool hotel. Old castle. Rooms very clean, but dated. Sinks didn't drain. Awesome bar. Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Broken thermostat. Not much to do near hotel.

We stopped here for lunch and everything was phenomenal. All of the wait staff were gushing over my 3 year old and giving her treats. I would definitely stop by here again.

Being on a hilltop, the view is spectacularly. Furthermore, since it's the last remaining piece of the original castle, you can really feel the history once inside.

As a hotel it was very nice with a small swimming pool, it is just not in a very nice area. We had a specific reason to be in the area but I would not really recommend going out of your way to visit.
