Perfect stop off in spain after a long travelling day! Lovely friendly staff and clean rooms. Ideal to park in garage next to room so can always access car plus fun to get breakfast through serving hatch!

Buen servicio.

Absolutely fantastic motel, very little information about it on the internet. Took the plunge and stayed here as wanted to dine at the Restaurante Ruta 62 across the road.

This motel has to be one of the best I have encountered in Spain: for two adults and two dogs, we were charged 35 euros for the night! The room was large, spotless with contemporary furnishings, a multi-channel TV, a window and blind that opened fully, an ensuite bathroom which was cleaned to a very high level. The air-con was very effective in the 35c heat and kept us all cool. The beds were large and comfy with spotless linen. A quirky feature of the motel is upon arrival you are allocated a garage to park your car (ours was number 24) and you drive into the garage, and the shutter goes down. Your room is immediately accessed by a door at the back of the garage.

There were only a few negatives, but nothing to put you off too much, which are worth bearing in mind: the room didn't have a fridge, although we had a portable fridge in our car. When leaving the motel, you have to phone reception to be let out (they open the garage door for you and you exit that way). You also have to contact them to be let back in! Room service does exist and there is a basic menu of pizza and chips. Staff were very friendly indeed and spoke good English. The mirror on the ceiling above the bed raised our eyebrows a little. The motel is set back from the main carriageway and is peaceful. There is a beautiful lane behind the motel that goes up into the vast cornfields (we took a walk up there the next morning). One of the best features is the separate Restaurante Ruta 62, a 2 minute walk away, with some outdoor tables. Make sure you have a meal here - we dined here twice, six weeks apart and the food is superb. They don't speak much English but you will not be the only foreigner and they do have a menu in English. Old-fashioned traditional cooking, delivered with genuine warmth. The veal is to die for! A good meal for two, with alcoholic drinks, starters, bread and olives, and main course came to 70 euros. Thoroughly recommend both Motel La Siesta and Resturante Ruta 62.
