We did the green walk which was fantastic and then the yellow walk which was also good. These both start at Villarreal. Plenty of wildlife to see and the paths were well marked and good.

Great views of vultures rising and circling on thermals. Stunning scenery. Good viewpoints too.

A must see on the road to Madrid or Lisbon !!! The scenery is amazing, I enjoyed walking / hiking in the middle of wild life. Animals were all around me. Be discret and observe 😉

This is the best natural park that I have never been. Monfragüe is a relaxing place where take a breath of fresh air with an extraordinary variety of animals and plant species. I advice you to visit Monfragüe and enjoy yourself or together your family of this beautiful location.

National park is must to see in Spain, especially in the month of Mai. There were flowers everywhere. It was really fantastic. Behind Villareal de San Carlos is a nice walking path. It's really enjoyable. It takes about one hour walk among the flowers, trees and birds. The nature is really beautiful. Be careful. There is usually more hot than in other parts of Spain. Obligatory stop also at the rock Salto del Gitano. The park is heaven for birdwatchers.
