Centrally located, staff very helpful, rooms and bed very comfortable. We enjoyed a couple days in Bilbao
Big room, enormous and comfortable bed, clean, good and not really expensive bar
Friendly staff who let us check in early. Room was spacious and clean. Had a great night's sleep. The hotel is well positioned and is a ten minute walk to the Guggenheim along the river.
Perfect and very cosy room. The only problem was bad water flow - shower booth became a swimming pool very fast.
No availability of alcohol in mini bar was a plus, in our case.
All the rest - just perfect, really!
Lovely hotel, staff really friendly. We had junior room which was very spacious and did not suffer any noise as others mention from the nearby club. Would have been good if the spa was free for guests, it was ten euros.
The place is OK, however the street outside is too noisy in the night, there is a disco in the street open until 5 in the night. The night cab be awful.
It's OK. Rooms just fine for a business traveler, provides the comfort needed. Lower floors can be bit noisy from the bar across the street. Breakfast 3/5.
Great and comfortable accomodation. But, please do not order food from the restaurant or room service. Just outside the hotel you have lots of great local food options all of which are in walking distance
Bilbao is beatifull city with mountains on one side (actually surrounding the city of 3 sides) and exit to the Aatlantic Ocean as well. Mercure Bilbao is very well suited to the style of the city and its buildings, good service with cozy, clean room. It is tempted to meet the Basque Country starting from Bilbao.
Hotel was being remodeled when me and my partner where there. So it had noise during the day. Also, the gym disappointed because it was small, had old equipment and was obviously just for show. The rooms are comfortable and big. Staff was helpful, spoke English and gave directions to reach the bus to the airport without hesitation. Location is good but not the best. Would stay here again.
