Best Authentic Mexican food in Madrid hands down!

The owner was born and raised in a small town of Michoacán, México and you can tell by the style of food served. It does carry some fusion in terms of local products in Madrid but the home cooked tortillas and fresh guac let you know it's legit.

I had the birria with home made Tortillas and a side of guac. Had a the Palomo (tequila with lime juice and tad of toronja). The food was amazing and reminded me back of Michoacan and my mother's cooking. The price was also reasonable. I think that whole thing was €13 and the portions were big.

The wait staff was amazing. Although they were busy they were nice and accommodating. The owner made room for people without reservations and also told them that if they wanted to come back a bit later he could add them to the list. Amazing! Went above and beyond.

They also give a complimentary shot of Mezcal at the end of your meal (and don't even think about refusing it as it will offend then wait staff).

Nice place but the food, compared to other Mexicans in the city, was a bit tasteless.

Slow service, fajitas had more bell peppers than meat, and the relationship between quality and price was absolutely awful. I'm not sure why it has good reviews. Not coming back.

Terrible and slow service. They should not take more people than they can serve. We got given a table and told to get out in 60minutes maximumokaywe sat down, they pushed to get the order pretty much as we were sitting down and then took 40 minutes to bring it overthe place was crowded and loud, mediocre and expensive food and terrible terrible service, after taking ages to bring the food (we asked twice) they asked us to vacant the table and have the shot they usually give with the bill at the bar. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
