As someone who works in healthcare, I keep an eye out for 3 things in tattoo shops:
    Cleanliness
    Attentiveness
    And technique

From a monitor in the front of the shop, watched an artist's (Leo) technique as he prepared his workspace. As someone who works in a hospital, I can say that his technique is clean and good. The art that he produces is carefully crafted and well thought out; of course, being given a good clear idea of what you want the artist to do is key. It is evident that he is very passionate about his work, his profession. The staff was friendly and accommodating overall, as well as very knowledgeable. If you're looking to get a tattoo, I would recommend this shop and its artist, Leo. And while they can communicate in English, I personally would recommend being able to describe what you like in Spanish just so both parties are clear. (Not to worry--I walked in and out with the exact image I wanted!)

The best in Barcelona!! Saw so much diffrent studios. But this one was the best. I'm so happy about my new tattoo. Jony did a very great job!! When you are in Barcelona and you want a tatto, go there :)

The guys working here were not keen on providing me with information about the piercing I was thinking about. They made me feel in a hurry and as if they just wanted to make quick money. Also, the toilets in the shop were not clean at all. I decided not to go on with it. The piercing shop in the same street told me 10 minutes later that the piercing I want (microdermal in neck) is not recommended because of high risk of rejection and infection. So glad I didn't let myself be hurried into a decision by the guys at L'embruix!

My mum went into the shop to get a bigger ball for her tongue piercing, the people were welcoming and very helpful meaning she left with exactly what she had come for. We know one of the tattoo artists who works there so he tattooed me. They're all very professional and talented artists. The complaints concern simple mainstream tattoos which is understandable because these guys should be doing proper tattoos and not copying photos. Highly recommend !

Very rude. Horrible experience. One of the tattoo artists turned me away after 1 attempt of making a modification to his drawing. I wanted a very small simple tattoo for my first tattoo and didn't want something I didn't love. The guy gave up and told me to go somewhere else Talk about not being passionate about what you do. He was just in it for the money.

Stopped in here because my son (7) was interested in getting his ear pierced while we were staying in Barcelona. The woman was incredibly rude to us and he left in tears. I understand if they don't want to pierce a 7 year olds ear but the way we were dealt with was appalling customer service. After reading some other reviews it seems like we had a near miss anyway. Avoid.

We went to L'embruix which is located in Pau Claris, with my friend to have a tongue piercing. The girl was so arrogant and fast, and even didn't asked us after putting a sign with the pen if the place was ok or not.

Whatever, after we had our piercings, we had a lot of problems. I had some blood accumulated under my skin, under my tongue. (On the 3rd. day)That was not normal, and all the people when I showed my pictures of my tongue, said there was something wrong with it. we went back to the shop, and the girl said us to wait few days more, if it was not gone, we would take it out. But it didnt go, and I went to show it to another piercing shop. The guy from another shop said that it was not good, not professional and it was also so deep.

It hurt a lot, and it also made some skin coming from the hole in the up, so I had to take it off. The guy even couldn hold it when taking it out, because it was really in deep!

We really lost money, lost time, and psychologically damaged!

My friend was also feeling uncomfortable, she couldnt even show her piercing, she had to take all her tongue out to show it.

Both of us now don't have piercing.

If you go and see a girl who is gonna make you a piercing, dont let her!!!
Exactly she is not a professional!!!

We really regret choosing this shop!
