If you are buying property in Spain, or conducting any legal business there you cannot do better than to use the services of JMS Lawyer. I have known Jordi for many years as he was instrumental in the purchase of my apartment in Spain almost 20 years ago and he has conducted many legal and taxation business for me over the years since then.
Jordi speaks excellent English, he is fair, helpful, prompt, trustworthy and he has a wealth of experience and knowledge across much of the legalities, taxation, contracts, leasing intricacies that prevail in Spain. He takes time to explain the complexities, providing advance knowledge of changes that will have an affect on his clients before they occur, where possible , providing advice which may mitigating impacts. He can turn his hand to much more to help his clients, particularly when they are non-resident owners , where his local knowledge and contacts are invaluable and he often acts as liaison between local businesses and tradesmen and the non-resident owners, to ensure language difficulties do not cause issues within the services they provide. We have used Jordi to help us handle the wrapping up of my mothers affairs when she passed away in Spain and found his help and advise to be excellent at all times.
