Nice sunny walk from plane to terminal but only one guy checking passports. Took nearly as long as the flight from London.

Very small but big enough for this area. Staff rude rather than welcoming. You need to be fit of walking to and from the airplane. Waiting areas are out dated and toilets are in desolate conmdition.

De todos los aeropuertos que he estado, éste ha sido el mejor de todos: muy familiar, con todas las facilidades necesarias que pocas veces encuentro en otros aeropuertos internacionales (enchufes para cargar el teléfono, asientos de sobra, fuente para beber). También el aeropuerto se ambienta muy bien con la cultura regional y es manejable, tranquilo y rápido!

There is no way to leave the airport on a Saturday afternoon (after 15:00). No train, no bus. Just taxis. Also there are no lockers here, at the train station or the bus station! Terrible experience

So I am full of compliments for this airport. The arrival on Ryanair from Hahn was simple though perhaps a needlessly long walk from the plane to the terminal in the open air and a little rain did not cheer the mood.
Nevertheless, luggage pickup was quick and all the rental car companies are right by the luggage pick up. Companies included GoldCar (incl Rhodium), Europcar, Avis, Budget and Xx. A small warning, half my plane queued for Goldcar. The others were basically empty. So either be quick off the plane or use another car firm.
Car rental pick up is just outside the terminal (for all) so no bus transfer or Long walks. Which made life easy and simple. Total walking was about 300m from plane to car.
Returning cars to the same point next to the terminal and in fact I got the car back in the same slot I picked it up from four days earlier.
Food in the terminal is limited to about one place airside and one place Spain side. Not a lot of choice and prices and quality comparable to Ryanair's in-air product. Don't bother going hunting for a MacDonalds!
Overall a great little airport with no annoying quirks and far superior to Malaga, Alicante or Majorca.response / report this review -
